Firestone Contact Adhesive has many uses including adhering EPDM membranes to upstand, masonry and vertical surfaces and as a deck adhesive on old concrete and asphalt. When applying to either upstands or decks, make sure the adhesive is touch dry before securely applying the membrane. If the membrane is applied when the adhesive is still wet, you may find bubbles start to appear under the membrane itself. A 2.3L tin of green contact adhesive contains between 7.5 and 10m2 of coverage.
